Attack of the
Killer Tomatoes.
Wonderful photos. Mules have their own special behaviors with lots of curiosity.
ReplyDeleteThey can be much like kids! I've had them pick tools from my back pockets while doing fence work. They are a hoot.
DeleteLots of fresh going on! Fresh garden tomatoes... yummmmm....
ReplyDelete37 yrs old is grand! I have heard that donketys and mules live longer than horses; what is your experience with that?
Our donkey stud lived until he was over 40 something. He ran out of 'babies' the last few years, but we enjoyed him. He is the father of my Red Mule called Sunshine.
DeleteSometimes the mules do seem to inherit longevity. I have one 23 yr old that is doing fantastic and another that has been retired.
With better veterinarian care, I've seen some horses live pretty long though! If old Fred had dentures he would probably gain weight in his retirement!
Lotsa fresh take on photos!! Can I assume Charlie's shot is from your archives? If it's recent, you guys are ahead of us on the freeze. The Killer Tomato shot made me smile, especially the soldier who need rescuing!
ReplyDeleteYes, that ice shot is from the archives. It was taken in December of last year. This dry run has a spring that builds beautiful ice all down its path through the winter.
DeleteWell done!
ReplyDeleteFred is impressive and all your shots are delightful!
