Weird Dreams!

Do you ever have dreams that just do not make sense at all?

How about this?

I was shopping in town and a storm was coming, when I got to the parking lot my youngest son was standing in the rain with his two young kids, a huge Jeep, and a motorcycle.

He said to me, 'Mom, take the kids, I have to go to court!'

I just asked him why didn't he take his Jeep? [He doesn't have one]

And he says the kids like the motorcycle better and the Jeep quit. [He doesn't have a motorcycle either]

For whatever reason, I got mad and slammed the drivers door shut hard.

And my car tipped over in the mud.

So yeah, I woke up then and wondered
Where in the heck did that come from?

  1. Interesting! I dream boring dreams. Like I am cleaning a closet or weeding my flower beds. Or going for walks. Then I wake up tired from working so hard. I know. Weird.

  3. When I remember dreams (which is not often) they almost always include something odd/unexplainable. The last one I had was several weeks ago. I found Tinkerbell (our gypsy and currently MIA tuxedo cat) in an airport. I was carrying her around without a carrier. The airport was filled with only couples, which I knew. Brad was with me. I am worried about Tinkerbell and have had several different cat related dreams that revolve around finding her.

I think your dream reveals you are worried about your grandkids. The door slamming could be related to concerns about unplanned shifts in their care.

There is a lot of info floating around the net, deciphering the meaning of dreams. Kinda interesting. I've googled odd stuff I can't figure out, a time or two. Just out of curiosity. The dream usually still doesn't make sense lol.

Dreams can be picked apart to the point of ridiculum, yet other dreams (or better said nightmares) truly reveal "stuff".

  4. That's quite a dream! I rarely remember dreams, but one I had at least a decade ago has always stuck with me. Vincent D'Onofrio from Law and Order was at my house with his wife. He and Mark were going from room to room while Vincent was telling his wife he had been our foster child. I'm saying he was not, we never had a foster child and we aren't old enough to have been his foster parents even if we had fostered. Vincent and Mark are ignoring me and going through all these found memories of his time with us, how it was the best time of his life. He and Mark are old pals. I'm going out of my mind, I don't know this guy, I don't get it. I woke up with it vivid in my mind and it still is!

What a great dream. I have had many like that. One common thread is that they concern someone I love and the oddity seems to make sense at the time. Go figure? ( She turns into a cricket? Explain that one?) Sounds like it was a normal " I don't know what is going on, but I know the people involved" dream. No harm at least. Which has to be a good thing.
