During the recent rains, it appears that the Squatch family got out for some well needed showers. Too bad they didn't see each other and reunite!

Beautiful whimsical photos. I always feel like a rube when I admit I cannot stand mushrooms! I cannot eat them and believe me, I have tried. My husband loves them so I make them for him all the time, no reason for him to suffer mt palate.
Squatchs just belong with mushrooms, don't they!
I was wondering if those were Dead Man's Fingers. I have never personally seen them, but I hear they are very creepy. Did you enjoy the Oysters? Those look like the prefect eating size and color.
Those Dead Man's fingers are way cool! I am afraid I would poison my husband with mushrooms so I just buy his in the grocery store! :)
That water looks so refreshing. You are harvesting & enjoying some nice 'shrooms! I am not confident enough in my ID ability to eat any fungi I find in the wild. After the hard rain, we also had fungi & slimy stuff popping up. I am always amazed at how quickly it disappears.
