I have to do past and present.
Morris who was perhaps my forever partner. 2004-2018
Charlie came into our lives rather quickly after losing Morris.
He must go deaf when we enter the woods.
I wanted to take his photo for Sunday Stills....so I called him and this is what I got.
After all there could be a squirrel or a chipmunk in any of those trees.
In the house, he is lazy. He commands the couch. He sleeps on the bench on the porch and takes naps with his humans.
And he is an avid hiker.
But won't take on swift and deep water crossings.
He provides us with laughter and comfort and is always up for an adventure.

Oh Charlie looks like a character! Little dogs seem to have the biggest personalities.
