That year end thing...

We all do it. Talk about what we may think we want to accomplish in the next year, or state resolutions for the next year.

There are even key words for the next year. I used a 'Free Word Generator'. I clicked on it and...

it gave me the word:

Play

Wow. Okay.
Um.

I went no further than that word. There were all sorts of suggestions on the -- Interweb.

Travel inspired words
Healthy inspired words
Uplifting
Career focused
Words of inspiration, kindness, self love, and so many more.

The word that was given to me by some random bizarre generator was fine with me.

Play.

We all know that just by changing the year's ending number, nothing really NEW starts. We do what we have to do each day to get along and that is simply the basics of living a life.

I have a lot of things I'd like to do and like to say I'd do. But it really boils down to.

One
day
at
a
time.

Last year I promised myself that I'd find a way to go camping for just one night. That didn't happen. Still, I'd like to do it just once.

I am setting up a photo challenge which I am almost certain I can attain.

A 365 Photo challenge. Theme suggestions that I may be able to do.

Legos, Toys, Nature...

I'm pretty sure I can fulfill the Lego-toy challenge. I wonder if I could fulfill a daily nature photo.

Men at work:

Ninebark bush, clumps of seeds.

The decision is still out. But I best make one soon.

I will probably do the photos on Flickr and not annoy anyone who reads this blog....or will I?

Hmmm.

Toys? Legos?
Nature?
Play?

Ideas?

I have to say that I have never indulged in this. I go to bed on 31 December, long before midnight, and wake up the next morning and go about my day. No promises, resolutions, foolish dreams - just another day!

At one time in my life I was into Resolutions and all of that. Wishes for good things in the New year were top on my list. Now ... maybe I've matured a bit.
And...maybe I still think of the new year as a mark. We shall see where this next year takes us.

You do play well, so barring the unforeseen, you should do well. Meanwhile, I keep chugging along and living my prosaic life day by day.

Darn, couldn't see it. It said it wasn't 'shared'. :(

I think you can easily take a daily nature photo, even if you just step outside your door. You live amongst nature. I don't make resolutions, not for an entire year. I'll only break them, anyway!

You do you!! I think play is a great word for you!

True of that. But I wanted a 'working' challenge. At least with a Toy challenge which I am going with, I can do it inside or outside and not have to depend on the weather. I go out most days despite the weather. :)

I'm not either. I thought I'd click on a few before I found anything interesting. But the first word ended up with Play. So I went with it.

Thanks, I'm thinking it is too!

Seeing your fun with Lego, I wish we hadn't passed ours on!

Play is a great word. I think it can be an attitude so one doesn't take things so seriously that things cause stress. I have a goal to finally get the oil changed in the car. I don't drive it much so the car is not in danger. I can look for new cars while am there and then not buy one.

LD....should be the one with the car oil change theme.

Lego has a program where you can also donate your old Legos which they wash them and sort them and then send them to needy families for their kids.
The old Legos are now worth more $$$$ too!
