I was getting out a saddle to put on Sunshine when I heard some voices.
Oh I know what you are thinking, but the voices were real. They belonged to Dennis and Ariel.
Since I had Sunshine out and was just about ready to ride, I asked Ariel if she wanted to ride Siera.
Dennis went in the house to visit with Rich while Ariel and I took a jaunt across the fields and a short trip through the woods.
After we got done riding we visited for a bit and then it was time for them to go. I walked with them up to their parents' vehicle. Charlie escorted us of course.
Charlie jumped into Rich's daughter's Tahoe and made himself at home. I had to retrieve him.
Charlie is an excellent ice breaker, no one is immune to his big eyes and exuberance.
They all went to visit my MIL at the nursing home for a while.
The bigger surprise was when they all returned to visit with us.
It was nice.
That was a surprise that was welcome.
