...watch TV or the Superbowl as most of Television doesn't interest me.
However I will only say this...
I love this quote that I saw when I watched the news.
That's all folks. I will repeat this to myself over and over.
"The Only Thing More Powerful Than Hate is Love"
I understand he knocked it out of the park. Mixing sports, I know.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a wonderful quotation, isn't it!
ReplyDeleteI think is more than 40 years since I last watched the Super Bowl. Let love prevail.
ReplyDeleteI didn't grow up with a television and didn't own one until I was in my mid 20's or so. I don't watch a lot by maybe average folks but I do watch more than I probably need. I find as I age though, I tend not to pick up new shows to watch and as the old shows stop being filmed, I'm gradually approaching the point of not watching any.
ReplyDeleteI agree whole heartedly with that saying though. I find hate accomplished little but keeping me up at night and not allowing me to be happier. Love or at least forgiving is a lot more desirable.
Brilliant! I loved it! Thanks for sharing Val! A sentiment I will always believe in. He was spot on!
ReplyDeleteWe watch for the commercials. Those were the most boring commercials I can remember. I did enjoy the halftime show - our favorite part was a clip of the setup of all the sugar cane. What can I say - we are boring and old.
ReplyDeleteI will say the last 10 minutes were exciting. Our oldest daughter messaged the family chat that if the score stayed the same she would win $500 in a pool. There were lots of jokes shared and then there were additional points, lots of posts of disappoint and jokes and more scores and she was ahead in the pool! Then someone scored again and she was out. But we all had a lot of fun picking on her.
I thought the message, even without understanding the language, was amazing. What a positive and joyful 15 minutes!!
A great message....and perfect timing.
ReplyDeleteI don’t watch football at all, so the Super Bowl holds no attraction for me.
ReplyDeleteI don't watch football, but I was determined to watch Bad Bunny!
